I have been to Kocken Chiropractic for a pinched nerve. He was able to relieve it and offered some very good advice. He is very knowledgeable about the body and how everything works together! He knows how to offer advice in his area of expertise. He showed me what to do. I was to a chiropractor 20 years ago for the same issue. That chiropractor only told me what to do instead of showing me what I was to do! Hence, I wouldn't have needed Kocken Chiropractor, but I am glad I went! That is the difference in chiropractors!!! I would come back to Kocken Chiropractor without any hesitation!

I contacted Kocken Chiropractic because I had a really terrible neck issue with a lot of clicking and popping and extreme pain in turning my head to the far left. Dr. Kocken has help both me and my daughter (4 yrs) substantially. He does not over do working on your back if you do not need or want that. He also explains very well what he is doing and what is wrong. My first visit I felt much more confident about the care I was getting because Alex made sure I understood what was going on. Due to my job of computers, phones and the fact that I'm OVERweight i had been dealing with several conditions such as shoulder neck pain, carpel tunnel, lower back pain and at times knee pain. I had been seeing a chiropractor for several years on a regular "maintenance" schedule which cost me dearly as they wouldn't take insurance. Their fee for for my 3 minute adjustment was about to go up again, so I quit. Well my neck shoulder pain came back with a vengeance so I did some google searches, found Dr. Kocken (and he's on my way to and from work... big plus) called, asked a few ?'s-- how much $$-(half of my previous) and he takes insurance ! Well I went and he was so patient, asked many questions and explained the hows and whys. I learned more from him in the 1st 15 minutes then I had in the past 4 years or more. He gave me exorcises to do which help greatly. And the biggest thing of all is I don't have to be on a once every 3 week maintenance program. I hope he never leaves the area !! The Best !!!

I had been suffering from an injury that I received from getting in a car accident in early 2011. I thought It would heal but it had became worse over time. I didn't take good care of myself and thought that it would just go away eventually. By the end of 2012 I couldn't even lift my arms up to hug my kids. I had been to physical therapy, a family practitioners, 3 other chiropractors, massage therapy, and acupuncture! I met Dr Kocken the beginning of last year and my body has had a complete turn around. Over the past six years I have tried physical therapy, cortisone injections, deep tissue massage therapy and chiropractic treatments in an attempt to alleviate the pain in my neck stemming from an ATV accident. I was just days away from having a neurosurgeon review my most recent set of MRI’S because of the extreme amount of pain I was in. After the initial examination, review of the x-rays and a thorough explanation of his approach to treatment, I decided to give him a try. My MD family doctor referred me to Dr. Kocken after telling me that "they're not very good at backs.." My first treatment gave me a great deal of relief. I saw Dr. Kocken once a week. By the third week, my back was feeling quite normal. I decided to continue for three more weeks (it was my MD who suggested six weeks), and by the end of that time my back was so much better, it actually felt better than before I had injured it.
